Still at Kinko's. Its 'business men hour'. Has to be. About 15 minutes ago 3 of them came in and set their laptops up. One's right next to me. He looks over every now and then. Probably thinks I'm losing it cuz I have my headphones on and my lips are mouthing the words to all the songs I listen to. I haven't looked over there once but I can see him from the corner of my eye.
Mmmm ... listening to Billie Holiday sing 'They Can't Take That Away From Me'. I love listening to her. Her music ... actually ... most music from that time put me in this certain mood. Hard to describe.
Now I'm listening to 'It's Not Going To Stop' by Aimee Mann.
After I watched Magnolia a few weeks ago for the first time ... I downloaded the song soon after. Its so beautiful. Just like the movie. I love the way everyone sang that song. I don't think I've ever seen that done in another movie. Not a drama anyway. I've watched it about 5 times since that first night. I cried ... hmmm ... 3 times out of the 6 times. Its just such a beautiful movie. I love the part when that cop (Jim ... I think) went on the date with Claudia. I think that's when I pretty much started to cry. I recognized a lot with Claudia. I was pretty much bawling by the time Frank (Tom Cruise) was with his father. I mean .... you just felt the anger in him y'know. The anger ... hatred and love. Then he started shaking because he couldn't hold off crying anymore. I've been like that before and I sorta felt like that on Saturday night.
Well ... I have like an hour left. I'm getting hungry. I had a pretty good breakfast despite Jenny being there. Waffles with a gallon of syrup hehe ... and a good bowl of Corn Pops. Lunch? A brownie and 2 chocolate-chip cookies. I wasn't really hungry ... plus I was busy working on the stuff for Bryan.
Hey ... I should go over to Borders Books. I love browsing the books. Sitting on the carpet with my legs folded and flicking through art books. Yeah ... I'm gonna go *grin*.
