•Thursday•So I was dating David Spade. Last night in a dream I was dating him. And then something with a bar, tequila and a group of girls. Then me, running in slow motion and crying. He hurt me. Deeply. I ignored him after. I remember a light radiating off me. For some reason I could tell I cared deeply for David Spade. Then there was something about the city being evacuated for some reason and I was left behind. It was snowing heavily and I missed whatever bus was taking everyone out. I woke up soon after thinking 'Why the fuck did I just dream about David Spade of all people?!'.
Christmas didn't totally suck. Christmas eve I ended up spending with Mark and Laura at Mark's brother's place in Brooklyn. His whole family was pretty much there. It was nice. But it made me miss my family. Mark's mom is pretty cool. When they started exchanging gifts she said she felt bad watching me sit there without anything. She got up and said, "We should all give Angel Boi one of our gifts." Oy! I quickly said no. I was surprised though to see a gift with my name on it. 'Resident Evil Zero' for Gamecube from Mark and Laura. Oh yah, Gary got me a Gamecube. A Gamecube, 'Metroid Prime' and a monitor that attaches to the 'cube so I can play it without a TV. I opened the 'cube when he came over the other night.
Christmas day I went over to Kat's for dinner. I'd never been to her place. It was nice. See, I can deal with her in small doses. Small, controlled doses. As long as I have the option of saying "Well, I'll see you later. Take care," I'm good. If I'm trapped with her I panic. It snowed Christmas eve. It started while I was still in Brooklyn. It rained and then snowed Christmas day. Heavy snow, which turned into the perfect excuse to leave Kat's. Plus, I wanted to go see 'Two Towers' with Mark. Awesome movie. I can't believe I made it through a year. Walking out of the theater last year I wanted to see the next one right away. It was definitely worth the wait. It was still snowing heavily after the movie. Mark and I came right home.
I actually got up earlier than I thought I would've. Played a little of 'Resident Evil Zero'. I won't be playing that game at night. I did a little when I got home early Christmas morning from Brooklyn. I've played a couple of the ones for Play Station. I've always hated the controls in those games. For a game that gory, you'd think they'd make the controls a little easier. It takes time and all to get used to them but I don't like 'em enough to keep playing. Mark said I could return it if I want to. I think I might. 'Metroid Prime' on the other hand, I'm totally in love with. I've played all the other Metroid games so this is really awesome. The detail in this game is incredible. Right along with the music. 'Super Mario Sunshine' is also incredibly detailed and fun to play.
Today is Gary's birthday. I called and left a message on his cellphone. I hope he either calls back (even though I didn't tell him to) or gets online before midnight so I can tell him 'Happy birthday' before it's ...over.
