I have to see the Final Fantasy movie when it's out. I mean I absolutely have to. I've played so many of those games ... it's only right. In fact ... I've started to play Final Fantasy III again. I have the Super Nintendo emulated rom on my laptop. I played it years ago when I still had my Super Nintendo. Traded two of my games with a buddy for it. The game just rules! All the ones I've played rule.
Very first one I played and finished was Final Fantasy I for Gameboy. The storylines are just so cool. They pull you in y'know. When the second one for Gameboy came out .. I got that one too. There was a part in that that made me cry while I was playing it. When the main character's (you) father died. I finished that one too. I started playing the one for NES but I just didn't really get into it as much for some reason.
Final Fantasy III for SNES ranks up there with Zelda: a Link to the Past as one of the best games I've ever played and finished. Final Fantasy games are like movies that you control. In Final Fantasy III you get pulled in from the start. And before you know it ... you're cutting class to play it. There's a part in it with an opera that's just totally cool. The first time I played it ... I cried a at the the part where the world rips in two and at the very end of the game.
In 7th one ... for Playstation ... I cried when Aeris died. The movie sequences in 7 were amazing. Game are not just games anymore. Especially role-playing ones. And Square does an excellent job of pulling you in and making you experience everything the characters do.
I haven't seen it yet, but I know I wont be disappointed with the movie. I know the storyline's gonna be good and by the trailers I've seen ... I mean ... wow! I've never seen anything like that before. Aki looks totally real. And there's a part in the trailer I downloaded where Ryan looks at the camera and says "You ok?" I swear ... you wouldn't know he's not a real person. The detail is incredible.
I'm glad opening night will be a Wednesday, cuz I have to be one of the first to see it. I also think I'll have to research movie theaters to find the best one playing it. Everything has to be perfect. A Final Fantasy movie deserves that. If you haven't already ... check out the official site. That's where I got the pictures from. The site's kickass. They also have very cool desktop wallpaper and a screensaver. Another cool site is this one. They have cool clips you can download.
Another movie I want to see on it's opening night is A.I.. I love Spielberg movies. Plus everything's so secretive with it ... just makes me wanna watch it even more. They say David (Haley Jole) never blinks in the entire movie. That apparently's the only human thing he can't do.
I also want to see Jurassic Park 3. I'm not sure if the storyline'll be all that great but I liked the first two (the first one being the better) ... and liked 'em. I totally love Sam Neil and Téa Leoni. I like William H Macy too. He was great in Magnolia and State & Main (Sarah Jess was in that too *drool*). Am I the only person who thinks William H Macy looks like Ned Flanders in the JP3 trailers I've seen so far?
