There's no way of blowing your nose without seeming incredibly disgusting. And there's an art to it. To avoid 'blow back'. You know ... you're blowing away and then look down and half of it's on your shirt. Charming. Maybe that's just me.

I got chased to Kinko's. Yay for Kinko's. On my way here I stopped by PearlVision to see if I could get a box of contacts. Same crap about my old prescription. My best bet is to get a new friggin eye exam. Just for contacts! That really does suck. Fifty bucks. Aaaarghh!

I'm gonna start writing this short story I had on my mind for a while now. It's about a boy who tries countless times to kill himself but can't because ... as he will discover in the end ... that he's not even alive. All the attempts are interupted and he's saved somehow. But not directly by people .... just by something they might have done. 'Robin's Multi Suicide'. I'll probably change the title in the end.

I'm supposed to get my cable modem disconnected today. Yay! My moronic roommate ... instead of just paying the bill and then letting me pay him back ... screwed something up. And so ... even though I'll get paid today and give him a check made out for next month's rent and phone and cable ... I may not have the Internet when I get home. Yay for that! The trick is now to find some way of staying out all weekend so I don't go totally insane. With risk of sounding like a total loser ... what will I do without the 'Net? Stay in Mark's room all weekend watching TV? Blah. Go and stay over at Aaron's? Hmmm ... can't. He's leaving tomorrow. I wonder what the weather's gonna be like this weekend? Maybe I'll sleep on a bench in Central Park and star-gaze.

Last week, Jim make a joke ... at least .. I think he was joking. "Come with me to Boston." Weird .... the second I just typed that ... I realized I had a dream where I went away for the weekend with some guy. Just felt eerie after typing that.

I still have a while here before I head back to the office. I like this Kinko's. I always get the spot facing the windows looking out on the intersection. Great place to people-watch. Humans are interesting creatures. So much to learn from them. I could stay here and watch them for hours. And I have. Even though the song I'm listening to right now on my headphones ... 'Flow' by Transister is slow and usually one I listen to when I'm bummed ... it's somehow fitting. And everyone outside is in my music video.

Oooh ... new song. 'King of Yesterday' by Jude. Let's see if everything'll make a good music video for me. Hmmm .. faster music. Cars are going a little faster. Traffic's heavier. Shhhh .... softer now. The blonde across the street. Follow her crossing the street. Perfect! 'Why don't you staaaaay?' Cue the guys waiting for the light to change. Good. Guy on bicycle. Great.
