Wednesday

Back in good ol' White Plains. *sigh* Gotta love this town. Anyway ... before I get to that I have to fill in what happened yesterday.

**TV announcer's voice**

Last time ... Angel Boi was heading over to Husani's office and was saying that he feels like a dope going there and Husani's not there....

... Let's find out what happened after he got there.

So I got to Husani's office and hung out for a while. I'm working on a website with him so he said he had stuff at home to show me.... that meant .... *dun dun duuun* .... going to Joisey. I complain a lot and I definitely had a lot of practice on the way there. It was like 2,000 degrees out. I thought we'd just take a train over and walk a couple blocks to his house or something. Um ... no. We caught a path train from the World Trade Center and then we had to get on a bus. A bus with no air. 2,000 degrees on a bus with no air. Looking out the window ... the only thing I could seem to think about was Puerto Rico. For some reason we didn't seem to be in New Jersey ... we were in Puerto Rico. Something about the streets and cars that I saw.

We got to Husani's house and we went over what he needed done to the site and stuff. He has these two dogs that seem to run scared when he's around. Animals and small children tend to do that sometimes when they see him hehe. We hung out a bit and then Husani showered, changed and we were off again.

We checked out this bookstore that he just totally loves. I'm not really a reader but I got this used book ... "The Orton Diaries". Haven't started reading it yet but it's from the diaries of this playwright (Joe Orton) before he was murdered by his lover. It seemed pretty good so I got it. I love reading diaries. It's like getting right inside their head y'know.

Waiting for the bus back to the city seemed to take forever. What people fail to realize is ... 10 minutes to them is a lifetime for me. The cool part about waiting there was watching people go by and ragging on them and just chatting and being silly. There was this gorgeous guy - who I quickly called "Blue" ('cause he was wearing pretty much all blue including his bandana) who reminded me of someone I knew back in the Caribbean. I joked around with Husani and said if I saw him 3 times ... we'd be destined to meet. I did see him 3 times. Third time being a little before the bus came.

Taking a long bus ride isn't bad if you have stuff to do or someone to chat with. It wasn't long before we were at Port Authority. We didn't exactly have a plan. A quick stop at Eric's apartment so I could drop off my back pack. I got to introduce Amber and Husani.

Off again. We had dinner at a Pizzaria Uno then walked around the Village and Chelsea. Sometimes I hate being in Chelsea. I swear ... the guys there are like super-shallow. We went to View ... right next to Big Cup and ordered two gin martinis. It was pretty cool there. This incredible waiter who everyone seemed to wanna touch. Husani and I sat there and sipped on our drinks and then .... this moron comes up to us and asks for ID.

What ... the ... fuck!

They didn't seem to have a problem with 17 year-old-looking me walking up to the bar .... leaning on the counter .... smiling at the bartender and ordering the drinks. The only ID I had on me was my old Social Security card with picture ID from the Caribbean.

Needless to say ... I got booted out. But I took a huge gulp and finished my drink in full alcoholic fashion before leaving. It upset me that they allowed me to buy the drinks and then kick me out. We pledged that we'd go back there another night with ID on me and if that guy gives me any crap ... slap it right in his face.

That sorta killed the night. I wanted to go dancing. I had all this energy I wanted to put to use. Go to a packed club. Dance with my hands above my head and my eyes closed. Just let the music go in me and the energy out. We went back to Port Authority and I took the train back to Eric's. I had his keys but I still felt bad sneaking in the apartment so they wouldn't wake up.

I'm sorta drained now so I'll finish tomorrow.
