I got home at 5:30 this morning. I was hanging out with Husani in the city when I called up Rudy and he suggested we meet up at Phoenix. I'd never been but I was in the mood for alcohol so Husani and I walked over to the bar. Wade was with Rudy. We all had beers and hung around. As usual, a couple guys looked at me but dared not actually speak to me. When people do that now I just think, "People stare at circus freaks, don't they." So I've moved myself to the 'circus freak' category. I spent most of the night petting this dog that I later found out belonged to the bartender. The dog was my date. I was happy.

Husani and I were buzzed. Quickly. Phoenix has a pretty nice crowd. College guys, older guys ... it's nice. We spotted some guys who we matched with guys we'd seen at the Linux World Convention last year. I thought one of them was cute though but I played out the whole scenario of what would happen if I spoke to him, in my head and let him leave for good.
