Subway rats are fun to watch. They are. I was waiting at Grand Central for the 7 train to Times Square and there were like 3 ... then 4 ... then 5 rats running around on the tracks. Like a little family. This other guy was watching them too. He kept pointing out how many there were. Funny how something like subway rats could bring people together huh. Stood there for a good 15 minutes watching them. The train took forever to come.
Being small and somewhat innocent-looking comes in handy. When I got outside Port Authority and crossed the street for the bus ... these two guys were ahead of me. Then the driver said "one more." The guys didn't seem to be travelling together but they both offered for me to go. I smiled, said 'thanks' and got on. I hate getting on a bus that only has one seat left. Especially if the seats at the very back. Everyone seem to stare while I'm trying to make my way back. And ... if I have bags? Kill me! I turn into a huge klutz and end up pummeling people while walking back.
I got home ... maybe about an hour ago. I was pissed because when I got to the station in White Plains ... I had just missed the train and had to wait almost an hour for the next one. One of the first things I did when I got home was order some Chinese. They took forever to deliver. They usually don't. And they're not even far from me. I was starving and scarfed on some ice cream while waiting. Chocolate Brownie.
Tomorrow I might meet a reader. His name's Tom. He messaged me sometime last week. Left me a message on Yahoo! Messenger. I think he found me through Y! Messenger: Conversations. He read some of my diary and said it would be cool to chat sometime. It was. I like chatting with him. He lives in PA but he's moving to Seattle. The moron hehe. Kidding ... he's really nice. And he's into art and writing too.
Anyway ... when I got home last night he messaged me with ...
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"I'll be in the city tomorrow."
And just then ... for dramatic purposes ... the delivery guy knocked on the door. So we're gonna try and meet up. Tom and me. Not the delivery guy. He's visiting a cousin before he moves. He's moving on the weekend I think. I gave him my number. He'll call when he's in the city so we can make some sorta plans. He won't be online for a while when he moves so ... we might do the ... *gulp* ... snail mail thing.
I have no idea what I'm doing tomorrow otherwise. I still can't reach Adam. I'm working on finishing the brochure for Richie. He got back late but I did everything he needed me to. I'm going up to White Plains again on Friday. Probably with Norm. If I have any self-esteem left ... it should be interesting.
