I start rehab next week. I'm a 'Sims' junkie. Never saw it coming. What they really should call it is 'Sim Crack'. That's exactly what it is. I thought I could handle it. I thought, "Please, I won't play it that often. I'm strong enough. Only losers give into addiction. I'm better than that." The hell was I thinking.

I got the game Friday before leaving Connecticut and so far I haven't played it under three hours. Three hours! How sick is that?! All weekend long, Laura would duck her head into my room and then yell at Mark, "He's still playing!" I think I'm scaring them.

Friday was nice. Finally got my rent check. Very happy about that. They were shooting something at Grand Central Friday morning. Possibly 'Third Watch' or 'Law & Order.' Something with a lot of cops. I don't know how they get anything done with people standing around staring. It's cool though seeing stuff like that.

I wasn't in Connecticut for long. Got there close to 11. Reformatted some of Norm's presskit. Left after three. Walked over to Greenwich Computer Super Store Hlkjl and got the game. I couldn't wait till I got home to play it so I started on the train back to New York. I really am impressed by the game. As dull as every day life but prettier and with better furniture and stuff.

I played it all night last night. Had brunch with Mark and Laura soon after getting up early this afternoon. That was nice. Laura said she has some ideas for a series of photos she'd love to take of me. She also mentioned something about possibly knowing someone I'd be perfect modeling for. I rushed home soon after brunch and started in on The Sims again.
