Spent pretty much all day in the city. I have to start working on a redesign for a website. The thing with me is ... I don't have that much experience. Design is easy .... but it has to be practical and that can be the hard part. I mean ... I could easily do something in like Adobe ImageStyler but the program just sorta makes everything look pretty. Most of the work I've done so far in my lifetime has been print work. Print work can be a pain in the ass sometimes though. Everything has to be exact. Colors have to be exact.

HTML can be a pain in the ass too. Everything has to be exact but I find that colors are easier to work with. Plus ... because you're just viewing it ... you can use every color in the rainbow. I also find it amazing that with a few words and symbols ... you can have a webpage. A little thing like crappy Notepad can create a webpage. Sometimes I just find not just technology ... but almost everything around me so amazing.

I love design though and I love creating stuff. I love being in that zone. Actually I need to be in that tomorrow and get some work done. I'm still used to not really being allowed to have 'free time' and I find it hard to even allow Mark to see me slacking off. Like just watching TV or listening to music. I feel like I should be doing something. Anything. But not slacking off.
