Relm's running around on the wheel. Tera's in the little nest thingy. That's the only time I can tell them apart. Relm's a gym-mouse. She wheels for a while, drinks some water and wheels some more. Tera wheels for a while but then Relm basically tells her to go away 'cause she's messing up her routine. So Tera goes and eats or goes back into the nest thingy. I think she may have low self esteem. I'm watching them right now.
The wheel squeaks a lot when going in one direction. Relm seems to like running in that direction. She's so cute. Wheeling wasn't cute last night though when I had a headache.
I got home later than I expected. I didn't get my wings. When I got back to the city, I figured I'd get the mice first and I'm glad I did. Everything came up to like 49 bucks. The cage alone was 21. Then bedding, food, water bottle, feeding bowl, chew blocks, a bottle of vitamins or something you're supposed to drop on their food and a nest. The nest was the only thing I picked out on my own.
Basically, I walked into Petco with Brandon, Husani's boyfriend ... and asked the guy for everything I needed for pet mice. In no time ... he had all the stuff there ready for me. And then ... the mice. It took a while to get them. He tried to talk me into getting fancy mice since there were just a few of them in one cage, versus tons of the white ones in another. There was this woman who was getting a new mouse for her son. She had one of the nests in her hand. She said they really like them so I got one.
I'm glad I got them. The wings and going to Roxy tonight weren't that important. If I had enough money ... sure. But I don't.
By the time I got, my head was really hurting. Plus ... we had pretty much nothing in the house to eat so I had to go to the deli and get a sandwich, cranberry juice, Honey nut Cheerios and milk. Deli food is expensive but I had no energy to walk over to Pathmark. I got back and watched the mice a bit while I ate. The cage is on my bedroom floor. Right across from my bed. I fell asleep around 8 and got up about an hour later with IM windows all over my screen. The headache wasn't as bad. I got ready for bed and checked email and talked to a couple people on AIM and Yahoo! a bit. Then the mice decided to start wheeling. Non-stop wheeling. Jay was actually the one who suggested Tera as a name for one of them. Then I thought ... Tera from Final Fantasy 3 (6) .... and Relm from the same game. I've always liked the name Relm.
I figured I'd call the one in love with wheeling, Relm because Relm was a kid in the game and had a lot of energy. They're so interesting to watch. And they're my kinda pets. Sleep all day, party all night. I couldn't sleep last night though and they would not frickin stop with the wheel. I had to jackoff just to fall asleep. When I woke up this morning, the porno clip I was watching was still up on my screen. I don't even remember drifting off to sleep though. Good thing Mark doesn't barge into my room.
We're kitty-sitting again next week so I'll have to always have my door closed and move the cage to the other side of my room. I'll probably be home most of the time anyway.
It's cold but I've been hot all day. I even wore shorts and had my window open a little. It was actually wide open before I woke up. I love the cold. I only closed the window because of Tera and Relm. I can't get over how cute they are. Hey ... I even got a Petco discount card yesterday. Ok ... that made me too happy. I need to get out more.
Tom messaged me on Yahoo! today. He's back in Pennsylvania. Things didn't go as planned in Seattle so he's back. We didn't chat for long. He was tired from driving and went to take a nap.
I haven't heard from Ron in a while. I'm starting to get a little worried. I emailed him a couple days ago. I hope he's ok. I have his number so I'll try and call him tomorrow or so. He's just usually online or emailing me or something. I instantly thought of him when I upgraded my Yahoo! Messenger on Thursday. Like, "Yay! Kick-ass new Pager! Wait till Ron sees it. Wonder if he has it yet? Wait a sec ... where is Ron?" That's the scary part about having friends online. There's no guarantee you'll know if something happens to them. I really care about Ron. Like I care about all my friends. I'm just hoping he's been really busy and hasn't had time to be online. I'm trying to think positive .... but dark thoughts still linger.
