So today was pretty cool. I spent pretty much all day in White Plains. A friend of my, Brian, from Missouri is in the city for a couple days. I've known him over a year. Online. He called me this morning and we agreed to have dinner tonight. I would've just met him after getting back to the city from White Plains but ... I had my laptop and I just didn't feel like lugging around with the stupid thing (hope she didn't hear that).
I'm home right now. Brian was supposed to call me around this time. I feel a little drained but I have to see him.
Y'know what I've noticed? I signed up for that Clix! (top 250 online diaries) thing. People are sooooo sleazy on there. I mean ... like seriously sleazy. They'd do anything for you to check out their site. No different than hookers in my book. The banners. I mean ... geeez. There's one on there that says something about "blah blah blah ... sex ... blah ... sex ... blah .. but absolutely NO sex". Can you say 'desperate'? And there's one in the top 10. I'm sure she's a nice person and all.
Skyscraper something. I can't remember the name and I'm too lazy to go to the site right now. But yah ... I'm sure she's a nice girl. She's like 2nd or something. She was way in first place when I signed up. But I've noticed that her banner's changed since she's been dropped to 2nd. Suddenly ... there's a boob shot. A pic of ... I'm not sure if it's her child suckling but there's some nipple nibbling going on.
Most of the members might as well just roll on their backs then, at this rate.
When people aren't using the word 'sex' in their banners ... or putting up some suggestive picture ... they beg. Like serious begging. It's pretty sad. When I first signed up ... I wanted to see how high I could've ranked so I pretty much asked everyone I know online to go vote. But geez that was only the first night. The novelty wore off after that.
And then the weird thing is ... I check out some of these sites with some kickass banners and then it's like "this ... is it?" The sites are pretty weak. Readers should sue for false advertising hehe.
