I'm still trying to be chipper but right now I'm frustrated. Yesterday I downloaded the new Yahoo! Messenger. It kicks ass! I mean ... they have these 'IMvironments' you can play around with. Like everything you type be in a Dilbert strip. Kick-ass James and I were playing around with 'em. They also have this cool 'rock paper scissors game' too. But ... I realize that my Yahoo! Companion's gone. I don't know if the new Yahoo!Messenger upgrade did it ... or when I upgraded MSN Messenger (which I still can't really stand). I did that yesterday as well.
All my bookmarks are saved in Yahoo! Companion. All of them. So now ... every time I need to get to a site I bookmarked ... I have to go to My Yahoo! to get to it. It kinda sucks and I didn't realize before how much I use Yahoo! Companion and I guess how much I'm grown dependent on it. But I just think it makes sense. Everything you need on Yahoo! in a toolbar in your browser. And since all my bookmarks are saved on it ... when I go somewhere else and need to access a site I saved ... I can easily do so.
I emailed Yahoo! about it.
I got a reply that didn't help any. So I'm totally frustrated right now. And what is with MSN Messenger stupidly opening up every time I just try to check my Hotmail? I mean ... if I wanted it open ... I'd do that. And what's even more irritating is ... it closes and opens again every time you go to another email or folder in Hotmail. It's so incredibly stupid. More so since they don't have an option to turn it off. That's why I really don't like it. It's a stupid program. I mean ... Yahoo! Messenger doesn't pop up every time I open Yahoo! Mail.
Lame.
I'm in White Plains. I got into the city around 9:30 and met Norm. Really nice day. I called her when I got on the Upper Eastside. I sorta felt weird because I walked by Aaron's. Norm wasn't ready so I walked over to Agata's, sat and had a V8 Splash with a blue berry muffin. It's silly ... but I always feel like one of the 'beautiful ones' when I'm on the Upper Eastside. I thought about Amber while I sat there. We used to go there.
The drive up to White Plains was really nice. It's windy so leaves are everywhere. So pretty. The colors, the rising ... the falling. We stopped by TJ Maxx. I got some cool jeans and a new coat. Yay for quick shopping fixes.
I'm actually going back into the city in a while. I have to go on a quest for wings. I don't have money for a fancy costume. Rudy and Ro are going to Roxy tomorrow night in costume. Rudy's going as a faun. Ro as a nymph. So I figured I'd just get small white wings, a tanktop and glitter. How easy would that be? I really do want to go. It should be fun. Just wearing wings and glitter also makes it easy to dance. Dancing without sweating a heavy costume would bring. I also want to get the mice on my way home. I'm totally excited. Little things like buying pet mice make me happy.
